While dining, golf shoes are permitted on the Patio and in the Fazio Club only. Cell phone use is prohibited in the Clubhouse, Fazio Club, Golf Course, Driving Range, and Putting Green. If you need to use your phone, please do so in the parking lot or in the locker rooms. Pets are not allowed anywhere on Club property.
The spirit of our dress code is for all members to respect and honor each other by wearing appropriate attire. Every member should accept the responsibility to commit to high standards for themselves, their guests and visiting family members. Men must wear collared shirts; mock neck golf shirts are acceptable. Ladies may wear sleeveless blouses, provided the blouse has a collar, or a collarless blouse provided the blouse has sleeves. Men's shorts and ladies' shorts or skirts must be within 3” of the knee. Jeans, tee shirts, tank tops and bare midriffs are not acceptable attire.
Proper attire is required in the Clubhouse. Casual dress is permitted during lunch, ie, collared shirts and shoes, no shorts, jeans, cut offs, flip flops, or bathing suits. Appropriate evening attire is expected for all dinner engagements, except for Twilight Golf where shorts are permitted. The dress code for special events will be announced. Club management will have the final determination on proper attire.
Proper tennis attire must be worn on the courts at all times. Bathing suits or cut off jeans are not considered appropriate tennis attire. Men must wear shirts. No street shoes, sandals or bare feet are allowed. Shoes also must not have marking soles.
Guests may play on the courts only with a member. Guests must be registered at the Pro Shop before playing. Members are responsible for their guests' charges and their observance of the rules such as dress code, tennis etiquette, etc.
Our pace of play rule is 2 hours or less for 9 holes or 4 hours or less for 18 holes. Rangers use a flag system. A green flag means your pace is fine. A yellow flag indicates you must pick up your pace immediately. A red flag requires you to pick up your balls and move ahead.
We have instituted a "clock system" on the course to ensure a proper pace of play. You will notice clocks on tees #4, #9, #13, and #16. This clock at each location should indicate your original tee time. Example: if you tee off #1 at 10:00 a.m., every clock you reach should read 10:00 a.m.
The Legacy Golf and Tennis Club has a play at your own risk policy. If severe storms are imminent, we suggest you seek shelter or come in off the golf course. Our Club policy is that you use your own good judgment if conditions are severe enough to come in.
All members with guests must register in the golf shop before playing. Please follow the cart rules of the day (located at the water station). No fivesomes unless authorized by the professional staff. Two players per cart at all times. Children under the age of sixteen are not allowed to drive any cart on Legacy property unless accompanied by an adult that will assume responsibility.
Please observe the green and red stakes approximately 40 to 50 yards short of the greens. These stakes are a directional to the cart path. Carts (unless otherwise permitted) should not be in grass areas anywhere beyond these stakes. Use the cart paths whenever possible and on par 3 holes at all times. Be polite to the group behind you and pull up past the green when on the green. To make golf enjoyable for everyone, please fill your divots with sand, rake the bunkers and repair your ball mark plus one other on the green.
We have three cart path rules. We will either be closed, cart path only, or 90 degrees. Cart path only means all carts must stay on the cart paths at all times. 90 degrees means that after you hit your tee shot, you must drive on the cart path until you are alongside your golf ball and then turn your cart 90 degrees left or right towards your golf ball. Once you have hit your ball, drive your cart back to the cart path and proceed toward the green. Continue this process throughout your round. On the par threes, keep your carts on the cart path only. Please check the water station before the start of your round for cart path rule of the day. As you make the turn, check the water station as the cart path condition can change. The water station will also have the play rule of the day posted. Please check the play rule especially during your tournament rounds. If we are cart paths only, no one with a handicap flag may play that day.
